On Protocol
Protocol is often reduced to formal language, prescribed gestures, and visible Ceremony. This Manuscript considers what lies beneath those forms: why Protocol has endured within The Art, how it gives intention a language, and why its value depends upon consent, context, care, and the character of those who choose to preserve it.
