Mentorship
also known as mentor, protege
The transmission of skill, ethics and tradition from an experienced practitioner to a newer one.
Definition
Mentorship is one of the oldest ways the Lifestyle preserves itself. A mentor offers guidance, honest feedback, correction and connection to community. A protégé offers attention, honesty and the willingness to be shaped by what they learn. The relationship is not a dynamic in itself, though it can exist alongside one.
