Definition

The Steward is a person charged with the internal administration of a household or estate: the management of stores, staff, expenditures and daily operations. In the Gorean setting the Steward is typically a free retainer of trusted standing; in community practice the term is sometimes used for a senior member of a Gorean household who holds analogous responsibilities.
