Wax Play
Sensation play using warm wax dripped or poured onto the body.
Definition
Wax play uses melted wax — usually from candles formulated for the purpose — dripped or poured onto the skin. Sensation ranges from mildly warm to distinctly hot depending on wax type, drop height and body area.
Discussion
Different waxes have markedly different melting temperatures; widely accepted practice distinguishes purpose-made body candles from ordinary decorative or scented candles. This practice generally requires advanced education, informed consent, appropriate risk awareness and should not be approached without adequate knowledge and preparation.
