The Administrator is, in the Gorean setting, a magistrate to whom civil authority over a city is entrusted. The office is distinct from that of Ubar, who exercises exceptional or wartime authority. Administrators are typically drawn from the High Castes and hold office subject to the customs and councils of the city.
