Boot Care is the practice of maintaining boots through cleaning, conditioning, polishing and repair. Within Leather and BDSM communities it is frequently practised as service — sometimes ceremonial, sometimes routine — and often has significance beyond the material task.

Boot Care traditions are deeply embedded in Leather culture, with dedicated skills preserved and taught across generations.

Standards and methods vary by material, use and community. Some Houses maintain specific traditions of Boot Care.
