Embodied Response refers to any response arising through the body — breath, posture, touch, sound, gaze — rather than through spoken language. In primal and instinctive play, embodied responses form the primary vocabulary of interaction. The concept is also relevant to service, ritual and protocol traditions that emphasise carriage and presence.
