Definition

Guest Right is the formal protection extended by a host to a guest under Gorean custom. Once accepted, the guest enjoys the safety of the host's Home Stone and is owed the offices of hospitality. Violation of Guest Right is treated in the novels and in community practice as a serious dishonour.
