Limits
also known as hard limits, soft limits
The activities a participant will not or may not engage in, disclosed during negotiation.
Definition
A hard limit is an activity a person will not do under any circumstances during the agreed scene or relationship. A soft limit is an activity a person is hesitant about, willing to approach only under specific conditions, or open to reconsidering with time and trust.
Limits are personal and may change. Disclosing them clearly is a responsibility of every participant, and respecting them is a responsibility of every partner.
