Predator/Prey Dynamic
also known as Hunter/Hunted Dynamic
Primal-play framing in which one participant takes the pursuing role and another the pursued role.
Definition
A Predator/Prey Dynamic is a primal-play framing in which one participant adopts the pursuing role and another the pursued role. The dynamic may last for a single scene or run across a longer relationship. It is negotiated in advance, including permitted intensity, tactics, safewords and aftercare, and reads its progression through embodied cues rather than only verbal instruction.
