Subdrop
also known as drop
A period of low mood, fatigue or emotional vulnerability that can follow an intense scene.
Definition
Subdrop may appear hours or days after a scene as the body's stress response settles. It is not a sign that anything went wrong; it is a common physiological and emotional aftermath. Aftercare, rest, hydration and gentle contact in the days that follow help most people move through it. Tops may experience a similar aftermath, sometimes called topdrop.
