Topspace is a term for the altered psychological state a Top may enter during a scene, characterised by heightened concentration, sensory attunement and immersion in the exchange with the bottom.

Topspace and domspace overlap significantly; some practitioners use the terms interchangeably, others draw a distinction rooted in the difference between top and Dominant roles.
