Ground Driving
Driving a Pony from behind on foot, generally used for training and conditioning.
Definition
Ground Driving is a form of driving in which the Driver works on foot behind the Pony, using reins and voice to direct movement. It is commonly used for training new Ponies, conditioning and figure work where a cart is not needed or appropriate.
Historical background
Ground Driving is drawn directly from equestrian training practice and adapted to Human Ponies.
