As Puppy Play developed vocabulary for its interior life, Puppy Headspace became a widely used term across community writing, education and personal accounts.

Headspace is subjective and varies from Pup to Pup and from session to session. Handlers commonly play an important role in supporting entry, sustainment and exit from Headspace.
