Pack Dynamics
The relational structure and interaction patterns within a Pack.
Definition
Pack Dynamics refers to how a particular Pack organises itself: who holds leadership or seniority, how new members are welcomed, how disputes are handled, how gatherings are structured and how Pups and Handlers relate. These dynamics may be codified in a Pack charter or expressed through informal tradition.
Historical background
As Puppy Play communities matured, Packs developed distinctive dynamics reflecting their members, region and history.
Discussion
There is no universal Pack model. Some Packs are strongly hierarchical; others are consensus-based; others focus on friendship and shared events rather than formal structure.
