The Ceremonial Chamber preserves the gatherings and milestones of The Cellars. A Ceremony names an event, its date, its host, the members it concerns, and — where the host wishes — vows, witnesses, and a short account of what took place.

A Ceremony does not create a collar or a Bond; it marks one. The collar or Bond remains the underlying tie; the Ceremony is its occasion, written down so the community can remember.

Any member may host. If you carry an active role in a House that permits ceremonies, the House may host alongside you. Submit a Ceremony from the Ceremonial Chamber: a title, a type, a date, and the members involved are enough to begin. You may add a description, vows, and witnesses as the occasion takes shape.

Ceremonies appear in three lists: upcoming for those scheduled, past for those concluded, and an archive of older occasions. Members named in a Ceremony receive a notification when it is published and when it concludes.

A published Ceremony is part of the public record of The Cellars: it is visible to signed-in members and appears in search. Members named in a Ceremony are shown by their handle. If a Ceremony is later withdrawn, it is removed from the listings; its existence is not advertised.
